Health Fair
 On
Saturday, January 10th, the Chamber’s Health
& Human Services Committee held their 12th
annual “Celebration of Health Living” Health Fair at
Southgate Mall.
This community event was presented Humana Market
Point. The day
was a great success
 with
hundreds turning out for the free screenings and large
variety of health related
information.
We had a large number people taking advantage of
the low-cost lipid panel & glucose tests offered by Community Medical
Center.
Also, many participants enjoyed the local
activities throughout the day such as the Super
Skippers, Mismo, yoga, tai chi & Missoula tae Kwando
demonstrations.
Thank you to all the vendors who took part in the
day,
the RSVP volunteers for helping with the lines and food
and special thanks to the health committee for their
commitment and hard work.

Each January, The Chamber’s Health & Human Services
committee organizes an annual Health Fair held at the
Southgate Mall. The focus of the Health Fair is to educate
the public through informative and comprehensive free or low
cost screenings. We also offer information regarding simple
lifestyle changes, such as change in diet, exercise and
stress management that can help the average person make
simple changes in their lifestyle to improve their
self-health. This event is a great opportunity for local
health related businesses to promote their products and
services.
