The annual Timber Tour is organized by the
Missoula Chamber’s Forest
Resources Committee, whose purpose is to organize businesses
that are directly dependent on a forest resource industry.
This committee also educates the public on the
importance of timber commerce to
Missoula and Western Montana’s
Economies. Their
goal is to inform the community about current good practices
and healthy forest initiatives in hopes of ensuring the
quality of natural renewable resources.
