Timber Tour - Friday, September 25, 2009

Participants enjoyed beautiful weather and had the opportunity to learn about 3 great wild land/urban interface fuels reduction, forest health and fire safe projects.  Their first stop was 7 miles up Miller Creek.  Roger Ziesak and Mark Alber gave a presentation on their project and the DNRC JumpStart Program (ARRA Funded), Mark's crew was present cutting and slashing.
The second stop, Dick and Bobbie Rossignol opened their place to the attendees for a slide show presentation and prescribed fire project tour by John Ottman.
The third stop, was a JumpStart project on State DNRC land.  The tour ended with dinner catered by All Events Catering at the Holt Ranch.
What a great way to enjoy an amazing September day
