BUSINESS ADVOCACY

Advocacy in Action/Chamber Positions/Archive

When the Chamber is looking at issues and how it can affect business the Chamber frequently refers to its 2010 Public Policy Manual". This document was created by the Chamber’s Governmental Affairs Committee and Board of Directors as a working document that gives the Chamber’s Board and Committees guidelines when dealing with issues that affect the Missoula Community.

The Missoula Area Chamber of Commerce, being the largest business advocacy association in Missoula, strives to keep abreast on issues that can have an impact to all business. Over the years the Missoula Chamber has taken positions on issues such as the sign ordinance, living wage and has endorsed candidates in city elections. The Chamber's Public Policy Manual will allow you to view these issues that the Chamber has taken a position on.
