Strategic Plan

A NEW FOUNDATION FOR A STRONG FUTURE
Click Here for a printable version of the Strategic Plan

In the spring of 2010, the Missoula Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors began a strategic planning process to evaluate our short- and long-term strategies to get the organization into a stronger position to help businesses succeed in these uncertain times.

Through this strategic work, we established a big and compelling vision that is attainable through focused effort. We also clearly defined our mission to help guide our day-to-day work and we identified six core values that form our outlook and foundation.

We also asked hard questions about the kinds of resources that will be essential to helping businesses thrive and we evaluated our responsibility within the business community to be a collaborative partner or a leading catalyst in providing these resources.

The Missoula Chamber committees are also now organized under Board Divisions. A sitting or past board member leads each division and it responsible for implementing strategy throughout all subcommittees and reporting progress back to the Board of Directors.

Below you will find our new mission, vision and core values along with the current goals and priorities of each our divisions. This division work is critical to actively engage businesses in helping make Missoula a great place for today and tomorrow.
