1.       Join a BNG - Business Networking Groups are small groups of 10-15 Chamber members that meet on a weekly or biweekly basis. These conversations foster deep-rooted connections within our community and offer Chamber members another way to get to know each other, and to grow their businesses by offering mentoring, and exchanging direct client referrals and leads.

2.       Apply for Leadership Missoula - Leadership Missoula is a program of the Missoula Area Chamber of Commerce designed to facilitate the development and growth of tomorrow’s leaders and provide opportunities to interact with different community members and explore issues relevant to our community. The program begins with a retreat at Flathead Lake Lodge, with the remaining 8 session days spread out between October and May. Upon graduation, a recent LM35 class member was quoted as saying, “Leadership Missoula is about so much more than simply networking or leadership training. It’s about building a relationship with Missoula, with those that share and influence the community together, and along the way, learning a great deal more about yourself and your views/biases. The entire first year, I feel, was an invaluable experience. Everyone is going to take something different away from this class, but everyone is going to be better for it.”

3.       Attend an Education Series class - The Chamber Education Series is offered on Wednesdays from 11:30am – 1pm and covers topics ranging from Human Resources to Marketing, and everything in between!  Our Education Series is your resource for affordable professional development in the Missoula area. Classes are held at the Missoula Chamber Conference Room and start at just $10.

4.       Attend a committee meeting – Our committees move Missoula forward! Active committees include: Agri-Business, Forest Resources, Health, and Workforce Development, Education and Recruitment. Each focus area allows for collaboration with our members and community partners to take action on issues that matter.

5.       Review your benefits with our Director of Member Engagement, Amanda Jamison – Amanda’s job is to ensure you understand your Chamber Membership and are utilizing it to the fullest. Schedule a phone call or in person meeting today to review your membership benefits so you don’t miss out!

6.       Attend or encourage your “young at heart” employees to join Missoula Young Professionals – We are working to engage the next generation of Missoula’s leaders. MYP events and programs are designed to help them establish a web of business contacts through networking and to grow both personally and professionally through a variety of program topics and venues.

7.       Post a job or review job seeker resumes at www.missoulachamber.com – With low unemployment in our area, the Missoula Chamber is working hard to help facilitate your next great hire. Do you have a current opening? Post it on our website's Job Bank and connect with job seekers currently living in Missoula or looking to relocate to our area.

8.       Attend or host a monthly Business After Hours - Missoula’s largest networking event! Enjoy networking in a fun and relaxed environment at Business After Hours (BAH).
