Mission:

To provide leadership with agriculture operations and related or ancillary businesses while helping to maintain our local heritage in Western Montana. To facilitate, promote and encourage healthy business trade, rural development, and related issues based on mutual respect of business partners.

Vision:

To support and facilitate agricultural operations* and related or ancillary businesses in Western Montana and to act as a liaison between the agriculture operations community and the business community, promoting and encouraging businesses to do business with local agricultural operations.   

*Agricultural operations to include, but not exclusive to, apiculture, horticulture, silviculture, aquaculture, aviculture and a variety of animal or plant husbandry activities.

Goals:  

1. Investigate and facilitate opportunities to enhance the local economy by increasing awareness and use of regional/local products     
2. Host the Agri-Business Banquet (February)
3. Livestock Extravaganza
4. Monitor agricultural related regulations
