The Forest Resources Committee of the Missoula Area Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to fostering communication and collaboration among timber-related businesses while promoting public education around responsible and sustainable forest management practices. The committee serves as a hub for industry knowledge and aims to be a go-to resource for individuals and organizations seeking information about the forests and natural resources that surround our community.
As part of its outreach and education efforts, the committee coordinates the annual Forestry Tour, which provides local professionals with hands-on insights into forest operations, as well as Forest Discovery Days, an interactive event that engages local students in learning about forest ecosystems and stewardship.
