Grace Friend

Scouting America MT Council

Grace Friend is a Senior District Executive for Scouting America, Montana Council, representing a five-county area based in Missoula. Originally from Boise, Idaho, Grace graduated From the University of Montana with degrees in Parks, Tourism and Recreation Management, Environmental Science and Sustainability, and Nonprofit Administration. While in college, she was a University of Montana Advocate alongside her involvement in Scouting. Grace has been a Scout since 2014. She has served in many roles, earning her Eagle Scout rank in 2020. Grace's current role with Scouting America Montana Council keeps her on her toes as she recruits new families into Scouting, raises community support for Scouting programs, and organizes volunteer support to help today's youth become Prepared for Life. Outside of her time expanding Scouting in Montana, Grace is a member of the Missoula Kiwanis Club, and enjoys reading, playing board games, and spending time outside exploring Montana with her husband Elliot and their dog Dixie.
