Madeline Gaffigan
Madeline grew up on the Eastern Plains of Colorado and studied evolutionary biology at the University of Colorado Boulder. After completing an AmeriCorps term in Seattle, she moved to Missoula in 2020 for another AmeriCorps position focused on conservation ecology. She later worked across Montana as the Assistant State Biocontrol Coordinator, collaborating with federal agencies, local farmers and ranchers, and gaining firsthand experience with the state’s diverse landscapes.
While she loved that work, Madeline was eager to dive deeper into community engagement and local activism around public land and community health. She joined the Chamber in early 2025 and looks forward to building new connections through the Leadership program.
Outside of work, Madeline enjoys sharpening her botany skills, reading horror novels, and running through the woods with her two dogs and her fiancé—while also planning their upcoming wedding.
