Patrick Erbacher

Missoula Police Department 

Patrick was born and raised in Missoula, graduating from Hellgate High School in 1999. In 2000. Patrick joined the United States Marine Corps, serving until 2005 while stationed in Japan and New York, being Honorably discharged holding the rank of Sergeant. Patrick continued his military service from 2006-2010 in the Montana Army National Guard serving as a Bradley Commander for Montana's mechanized infantry battalion. In 2006, Patrick was hired as a Missoula Police Officer, now having served over 20 years in this profession. While serving as a police officer, Patrick earned a degree in Criminal Justice. During his time as a Missoula Police Officer, Patrick has served in the roles of Patrol Officer, Field Training Officer, FTO Board member, SWAT Team member, SWAT Team Leader, DU! Officer, Patrol Corporal, Patrol Sergeant, Traffic Sergeant, and Patrol Lieutenant. Patrick also served for 8 years as the Vice President for the Missoula Police Officers' Association. Patrick has earned 4 Lifesaving Medals for his actions in the field that led to saving the life of another.
