Missoula Sports
Missoula has an active, outdoor lifestyle. Residents enjoy a wide variety of sports and Missoula has options for any athlete or fan.

Glacier Ice Rink
Glacier Ice Rink is located on the grounds of the Missoula County Fairgrounds. The rink is operated by the Missoula Area Youth Hockey Association, a non-profit organization, and offers a variety of recreational ice sports activities through in-house programs and use groups. We provide hockey leagues for youth and adults of all ages and abilities, along with public skating sessions, birthday parties and rentals. We are open September through June each year and are home to the Missoula Curling Club, the Missoula Figure Skating Club, the Missoula Referees Association and the Women’s Hockey Association of Missoula and the Missoula Junior Bruins hockey team.

Missoula Marathon
The Missoula Marathon is one of our community’s most beloved and supported events. In 2010, the Missoula Marathon won the Best Marathon in United States award by Runner’s World Magazine. In 2011, the Missoula Marathon was named the Best Tourism Event by the state of Montana.

University of Montana Grizzly Athletics
Recreation is a way of life at the University of Montana, whether it’s hitting the Fitness Center, attending intercollegiate athletic events, or playing intramural sports.

Missoula Paddleheads Baseball
Missoula has a wide variety of sports to take part in or watch as a fan. There are options for athletes and fans alike all year long. Football, basketball, baseball, hockey, running and even curling are all part of the Missoula sports scene.

Missoula Curling Club
Missoula has become a hot spot for performing arts. Concerts, theater, dance and just about anything else you could want are options all year long. Two amphitheaters and a historic theater attract some of the best music acts in the country to this Montana city.
