Holt Heritage MuseumThe Holt Heritage Museum collection tells the story of cowboys, their equipment, including celebrity's western boots and the evolution of different types of saddles and tack. Nez Perce, Salish/Kootenai and Crow are included in the Indian collections. The museum is on the famous Lolo Trail or the Nez Perce (Nee-me-poo) Trail, which was used, by Lewis and Clark in 1805 and 1806.

A Carousel For MissoulaA Carousel for Missoula is one of the first fully hand-carved carousels to be built in the United States since the Great Depression. Open daily, with the exception of 12 days in January when major maintenance is performed.
Currents Aquatic CenterCurrents’ four pools have engaging water features for every age. Currents is also home to Parks and Recreation headquarters and Headwaters, a beautiful state-of-the-art community meeting room available for public use.

Dragon HollowDragon Hollow, built by 4000 volunteers in just nine days in the spring of 2001, has many fun and artistic elements thanks to local children and other artists. It is open dawn to dusk daily, weather permitting, and is free to the public.
Memorial Rose Garden ParkMemorial Rose Garden Park was established in 1944 by the city and the Missoula Rose Society to commemorate members of the armed forced killed in World War II. It has since become the site for memorials dedicated to casualties of America’s conflicts including Vietnam, Grenada, Panama, the Persian Gulf and Korea. In addition, there are a variety of other memorials throughout the park, including the Missoula Law Enforcement Memorial. In April 1999, the Missoula Memorial Rose Garden was designated as a “State Veteran’s Memorial Rose Garden” and the Korean War Memorial as a “State Korean War Memorial.” Both are shown on official Montana State Highway maps.

Mobash Skate ParkMobash Skate Park is open daily in McCormick Park in downtown Missoula. Helmets are required in the 15,000-square foot park. Mobash is a home-grown project conceived and developed by local skaters in partnership with the City of Missoula. Many generous donors helped fund the project, and professional skateboarder and philanthropist Tony Hawk kicked off the fun at the 2006 grand opening of the park.

Missoula Children's Theater (MCT)Located in downtown Missoula, the MCT Center for the Performing Arts’ state-of-the-art 324-seat theatre is home to the Missoula Children’s Theatre and the Missoula Community Theatre. The facility is available to the community for rental space, where classes, meetings, countless weddings, receptions, dance recitals and other celebrations take place in the bright, spacious lobby.

Rocky Mountain Ballet
Rocky Mountain Ballet Theatre (RMBT) and Rocky Mountain Ballet Theatre School were founded in 1998 by Artistic Director Charlene Campbell Carey. Ms. Carey envisioned Rocky Mountain Ballet Theatre as a company that would present original ballets and would collaborate with musicians, artists and other dancers and choreographers.

Out To LunchOut to Lunch is a weekly concert series at Caras Park on the Clark Fork River, featuring musicians and over 20 varied food vendors. Enjoy Montana’s longest running festival every Wednesday in June, July, and August from 11:00am to 2:00pm.

Downtown TonightDowntown ToNight happens every Thursday night in June, July, and August from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in Caras Park. This weekly event offers an outdoor venue for live music, food vendors, and the Bud Light beverage garden for residents and visitors. The event is FREE to attend and also highlights a weekly family activity.
