Missoula is a university town. The success of the University of Montana is vital to the success of the local business community. With this in mind that Chamber Board of Directors Chairman Steve Clawson has made expanded collaboration with the University of Montana a new initiative for the Chamber this year.
The collaboration has included the launch of the “In the Heart of All of Us Beats the Heart of a Grizzly” campaign. Businesses in Missoula can show their support for UM through apparel and window decals. For more information about decals, please contact the Chamber.
We will be looking for even more opportunities to support the University of Montana and deepen the connection between University staff, faculty and students and the business community. Help us paint the town Maroon and Go Griz!
- Heart of a Grizzly window decals are available upon request at the Missoula Chamber - The Chamber is here to connect businesses to the University for continued education and internships

The inspiring story of Rob Selvig, pioneering coach of the University of Montana’s Lady Griz basketball team. In an era when gender discrimination in sports was the norm, Coach Selvig built a "house" of inclusion and empowerment by recruiting female athletes from the ranches, farms and Native reservations of Big Sky Country.
