RAFFLE RULES

Tickets can be sold out of the geographical confines of Montana if the purchase is not prohibited in the jurisdiction in which the purchaser resides. Payment by credit card or services such as PayPal are prohibited. Participants must be 18 or older to enter the raffle and be eligible for prizes.

You need not be present to win. Tickets are $100.00 per ticket with a maximum of 1000 tickets sold. If less than 500 $100 raffle tickets are sold the raffle tickets will be fully refunded and no prize shall be awarded. The refund shall occur within 45 days of raffle cancellation.

For each payment of $100.00 the purchaser is given one (1) entry into the Raffle prize. The prize is subject to, and the prize winner is fully responsible for, any and all federal, state and local income or excise taxes, fees, assessments and like charges associated with the prize. Raffle tickets are not redeemable for cash. There is one (1) raffle prize:
A 2024 KZ 29’ CONFLUENCE TRAVEL TRAILER MODEL 24BH FROM BRETZ RV & MARINE. Estimated value $42,995.

A portion of the raffle proceeds will be given to charity(s) designated by the Missoula Area Chamber of Commerce.

The raffle drawing will be held September 10, 2023 at 6:00 pm MDT at the Chamber Business After Hours at 3207 W Broadway St, Missoula, MT 59808. Winner need not be present to win. Ticket Sales close at 5:45 pm MDT September 10, 2024. The selection process for determining
the winner of the raffle is from a drum containing raffle ticket stubs or other suitable indicators of the ticket purchaser’s identity that have been thoroughly mixed before the drawing.

The name of the sponsor is the Missoula Area Chamber of Commerce, 825 East Front Street, Missoula, MT 59802 and the contact is Mark Losh, 406-542-6623, [email protected].

Raffle entrants accept and agree (1) to be bound by all the rules, limitations and restrictions set forth herein and (2) that their names and/or likenesses may be disclosed to and used by the news media and may otherwise be used by the Missoula Area chamber of Commerce for publicity purposes. The Missoula Area Chamber of Commerce's interpretation and application of the rules and regulations shall be final.

Checks that are returned for insufficient funds or other reasons, or debit card purchases that are denied shall disqualify the Ticket. It is the purchaser’s sole responsibility to provide a valid, deliverable mailing address. Winner(s) must claim and accept ownership of the prize(s) by
October 1, 2024 or forfeit the prize. No prize can be taken in cash. Prizes forfeited will be re-raffled and awarded within one (1) week and must be accepted by October 15, 2024.

Only one (1) person or organization may be identified as the purchaser of a Ticket. Title to the prizes shall be in the name on the Raffle Ticket stub. Tickets are not transferable or assignable. The prize is also not transferable or assignable. Division of a prize by a group purchasing a
ticket in common shall be the sole responsibility of the person or organization named as the holder of record of that ticket, should that ticket be selected as a winner.

The Raffle is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and is void wherever prohibited or restricted by law. No portion of the raffle ticket price may be deducted as a charitable contribution for federal income tax purposes.

Net proceeds of the Raffle will go to selected Missoula area nonprofits, as well as The Missoula Area Chamber of Commerce, which is a 501(c)(6) non-profit organization registered with the Secretary of State of Montana, to distribute for charity, educational, or public benefit purposes. Ticket purchasers, by participating (and
winners, by accepting a prize) release The Missoula Area Chamber of Commerce, Bretz RV & Marine, and their respective Board of Directors, committee members, volunteers, partners, employees, vendors, agents, representatives, sponsors, service agencies and independent
contractors, and each of their respective directors, officers, partners, employees and agents, including advertising, public relations, direct marketing and promotion agencies, from any and all liability with respect to participation in the promotion and possession or use of the prize
awarded and also acknowledge that they did not receive any representations, warranty or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize.

Any liability of The Missoula Area Chamber of Commerce shall be limited to Ticket price paid and in the case of any dispute, the decision of The Missoula Area Chamber of Commerce shall be final. ANY CONTROVERSY OR CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE RAFFLE, SHALL BE SETTLED BY BINDING ARBITRATION IN MISSOULA, MONTANA. THE MISSOULA AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE DOES NOT MAKE OR PROVIDE ANY REPRESENTATION, GUARANTEE OR WARRANTY, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, IN CONNECTION WITH THE RAFFLE PRIZE.
